Des studied at Epsom School of Art and Design in 1968, before attending The Royal College Of Art in London to obtain a Masters degree in Environmental Design.
Des launched his own design practice called Ager Design in 1980, that saw him work with the leading retailers in fashion, cosmetics and department store design projects in London, England, New York USA and Melbourne, Australia.
Des has also lectured in the subject of Interior Design and Retail Design at leading institutions like Berkshire College of Art and Design.
